Make use of your talents

“Your talent is God’s gift to you, what you do with it is your gift back to God”- Few years back this thought came into my mind.I’m basically a dancer, used to dance in stages( schools, colleges, competitions ) but later I became disappointed because of my dancing itself, before I considered dance as my life blood-Its like “dance till I die.”

But later slowly I got dissatisfied with my performance…Its like some missing…I was really upset after each performance. And very soon He showed me the exact reason behind my dissatisfaction.

Going back to my school days…..

I still remembering the school days’ performance ( Infant Jesus School ).Actually my foot tapped first for Him- In white frock with wings, dressed like an angel with candles. It was a prayer song.During that time I danced simply based on guidance( Still now I can visualize the movements) Jesus was not a friend of mine at that time. But HE was with me from the beginning.

Back again…

I rejoiced so much in His presence, especially while I danced for Him.I came to knew that my foot wants to tap for Him more.Still I love dancing but not more than Him.Like this we all are gifted with so many talents such as dancing, singing, drawing, writing, painting and so on… Its our duty to utilize those talents more for Him…more for His glory since its one of the greatest gift that we can give to our Father. For sure, He too loves it more..

  1. So beautiful! Yes, He does love it when we dance and sing and gift ourselves back to Him. What a precious thought to see Jesus there with you as such a young child, dancing with you, and loving you then, before you even knew Him. He is such a good shepherd for us! Blessings to you!

  2. It’s so good to remember that even when we didn’t know Jesus He was still with us. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to use our talents for Him and to share with others. Letting the light of His love shine through us. Blessings to you, sweet friend!
